Croxley Hall Carp Syndicate Rules
- All members must be in possession of a current E.A. Rod licence to fish at Croxley Hall Fisheries which should be carried at all times together with Croxley Hall Syndicate Membership Card. Membership cards/fees are not transferable or refundable. Full membership entitles the member(s) to fish Broadacres 1 Lake only. Thames Region bylaws apply at Croxley Hall Fisheries and should be observed in addition to the Fishery rules at all times.
- Membership fees are payable before 14th March each year. Members who fail to pay their subscriptions by the due date will lose their membership place as a waiting list is in operation and numbers are strictly limited.
- Croxley Hall Carp Syndicate Members will be able to fish from 1st April until the end of February on Broadacres 1 Lake. The fishery will be closed to everyone during March.
- Night fishing is allowed 7 nights a week but no more than a 48-hour session can be done at any one time. Members may use the clubhouse toilets.All members are asked to arrive no later than 11pm and not before 4am. Visits in between these times will not be tolerated.
- There are two car parks at the fishery, the top car park (which can be used by all vehicles) and the bottom car park which is reserved for cars, motorcycles and small vans only (this excludes long wheelbase vans and twin rear wheeled vans/lorries)
- Two rods only, until the 1st November when a third rod may be used for the remainder of the season.
- No fishing tackle or equipment of any kind shall be left unattended in a swim for more than 3 hours in a 24-hour period.
- A suitable size unhooking mat and landing net must be used at all times when fishing for specimen size fish. Anyone not using one will be asked to leave the water.
- No keep nets or sacks must be used unless prior permission has been granted.
- No pre-baiting or ground baiting is allowed prior to fishing. The use of TIGER NUTS and PEANUTS is strictly forbidden.
- Landing nets and weigh slings must be dipped in the dip tank provided prior to fishing.
- No bent hooks are to be used under any circumstances. This includes "Fox Series 5's" and bent "Kamasan B175's".
- No lead core leaders are to be used under any circumstances. Braided main lines are allowed in conjunction with a minimum of a 20ft nylon leader. This rule is under review. RIGS WILL BE CHECKED.
- The use of Bait-Boats, Rubber Dinghy's, Hard Bottom Boats, and Li Lo's is strictly forbidden.
- When fishing for Pike, semi barbed trebles only to be used. No live baiting allowed.
- 16. Guest tickets are available but limited (one guest per member) these must be booked prior to fishing, at a cost of twenty-five pounds for twenty-four hours. All guests must fish adjacent swims and be accompanied both on and off the premises. In the occasional event of a non-fishing guest visit it is imperative that they also be escorted on and off the premises.
ALL MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR GUESTS!
- Dogs and/or radios, pushchairs or prams are not allowed on the fishery. All litter and nylon must be removed from the fishery. Anglers fishing a swim which has litter strewn around will be deemed responsible for the litter and will be asked to leave the venue.
- Persons fishing at Croxley Hall Fisheries do so at their own risk. Croxley Hall Fisheries or its employees cannot be held responsible for any accident and/or injury to anglers or their possessions, however caused, whilst on the premises. It is the angler's responsibility to ensure they are protected and are aware of the dangers of fishing before entering Croxley Hall Fisheries.
